RULES

    1. All cattle entered in draft oxen events must comply with CT State Health Regulations.

    2. The Rules, as adopted by the Connecticut Ox Owners and Drivers Association, will be strictly enforced.

    3. All animals in show and drawing contest must be on the grounds by 8:30 am and remain until close of fair.

    4. Oxen will be driven with a whip and lash or wooden goad sticks only.

    5. Teams will be weighed on Fairgrounds at a time designated by the chairman.

    6. Oxen pulling and showing events will be paid by check, by mail, after the fair.

    1. All entries in horse pull must comply with CT State Health Regulations.

    2. Teams must be on the grounds in time to weigh.

    3. Eastern Draft Horse Association Rules apply.

    4. Any additional rules will be announced before each class.

    5. Official distance for horse classes will be a minimum of 12 feet.

    6. Premiums for teams being tested by the state will be withheld pending a negative test result.

    1. CDPA Rules and Regulations will be followed.

    2. All teams must comply with CT State Health Regulations.
